Having worked in the Netherlands and in Ireland prior to completing her training at Oxford School of Psychiatry and MSc from Kings College London, Dr. Ryan has extensive international experience in the field of psychiatry. Her approach is a holistic one, which foregrounds a comprehensive integration of both the physical and psychological aspects of an individual’s mental health. Dr. Ryan has dedicated more than 15 years to the field of psychiatry. Her work has exposed her to a variety of specialities, both in outpatients’ and inpatients’ settings in primary, secondary and tertiary care. In addition to expertise in forensic psychiatry, perinatal psychiatry, Dr Ryan has also benefitted from working and supporting individuals with special needs with mental health issues. One of her interests include transcultural psychiatry and alternative medicine. She has worked at Somerset Adult ADHD Service and Cambridge Adult ADHD Clinic and has published research undertaken during her time as a member of the ADHD Research Group University of Cambridge.
